Boult Wade Tennant is pleased to announce that Matthew Ridley is to become the latest partner at the firm with effect from 1 May. Joining the firm in 2010 Matthew qualified in 2014. The promotion further strengthens the engineering and designs team. Matthew has wide experience in the engineering field with particular focus on mechanical inventions and consumer product designs. He is a member of the Designs and Copyright Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and a member of the Council of the British Group of Union IP.

Commenting on the promotion, Senior Partner Nick McLeish said: “This promotion is a reflection of our strategy of attracting, retaining and investing in the best attorneys. Matthew has made a significant contribution to the firm and we are proud of his continued commitment to providing our clients with high quality service.”
