Trade Mark Partner Catherine Wolfe has been invited to speak at a workshop being held by the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) next month. Catherine, along with IP Law Professor and Head of CCLS Professor Spyros Maniatis, will be speaking about the IP implications of Brexit. The other part of the session will review the EU Trade Mark Reform and its implementation – another big change that has impacted IP law this year.
Catherine has previously served as President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) and is a member of the ITMA Council. She also regularly attends meetings of the Executive Committee, the Law and Practices Committee, and the ITMA Brexit Task Force Committee.
The ECTA-EUIPO workshop will take place on Wednesday 14 September at the EUIPO Brussels Liaison Office.
