After nearly four years working in translation, relating to intellectual property, I decided to pursue a more hands-on role in the field. Having completed a summer scheme with Boult, I joined the firm and have since qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney.
I always enjoy seeing new branding ideas and concepts that will soon be hitting the market. I strive to provide the best advice to clients on their trade mark portfolios, whether they are UK-specific, or worldwide in scope. I work with clients in sectors such as media and entertainment, sports, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and food and drink. During my training, I have gained high-level knowledge of trade mark prosecution procedures in a number of countries around the world.
I believe in supporting the next generation of diverse IP talent, so have volunteered for the firm’s Sutton Trust placement scheme, which offers work experience for school pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
