I have considerable experience in trade mark filing, prosecution, clearance searching and handling contentious trade mark matters, both in the UK and globally. I have experience in advising individuals, start-ups and multinational companies in a number of industries, including fashion, beauty, food and drink, computer games, music, entertainment, financial services and solar energy technologies.
My achievements include: assisting a large US food producer in a complex mediation proceeding at the EU Intellectual Property Office; preparing submissions for the General Court; and successfully appealing a cancellation decision before the EU Intellectual Property Office’s Boards of Appeal, in a case involving two high-profile celebrities.
