I have always enjoyed both writing and science so I wanted to find a career that would allow me to do both. After attending summer vacation schemes at both Boult and another IP firm, I knew that this was the career for me.

Working as a Patent Assistant allows me to interact with a broad range of scientific technologies, whilst developing strong analytical skills. I enjoy helping our clients to receive the best possible protection for their inventions.

I have experience in a wide range of patent work, including preparing prosecution strategies, researching for opposition cases and assisting with freedom-to-operate work and drafting. I have also enjoyed discussing cases with my supervising partners and participating in client calls.
