Previously working in the criminal law arena, I joined Boult as a member of the patent and designs teams. I subsequently moved across to the trade mark team as a Paralegal.

I am the designated contact point for a global telecommunications client. This provides a convenient way to coordinate and align information and requests to our team, meaning the client has one individual responsible for distributing and delegating work. They also know that when a client emails a query which is outside of the scope of the support we provide to them, I will find the correct person within the business who would be able to find a solution. It streamlines processes and offers value for money to the client, and adds to the service we provide.

From large scale trade mark filing programmes to dealing with day-to-day prosecution matters, no two days are the same. I have particular experience in media and telecoms and have recently coordinated a comprehensive global filing programme following a client’s re-brand.

Every day at Boult is a learning experience and it’s the variety of my work that I enjoy most about my role.

Recent experience

Assisting with a successful domain name complaint for a major retail brand that saw the domain transferred to the client’s ownership.

Gathering evidence for a major media brand in successful opposition proceedings against a UK trade mark application filed by a household name in the tech sector.

Assisting with the seizure by Italian customs authorities of counterfeit clothing bearing the trade marks of a big name in the field of sport.
