News » First IP attorney based Pathways to Law placement

Boult Wade Tennant shares the Sutton Trust’s ambition to create a more diverse and inclusive IP industry. We partnered with the Trust because this firm believes everyone should have access to a career in IP law no matter where they are from. The placement programme has given us the opportunity to introduce 12 able and bright students to the exciting world of IP. Working with the group over three days of intensive but fun sessions we hope we have achieved our goal which was to give these students an understanding of what the role of an IP attorney entails. Thanks must go to our clients: Vodafone, Hotel Chocolat and Gravity Industries for helping us deliver the programme and bringing to life how important IP is to a company.

Our next challenge is to deliver our Vacation Scheme where we will welcome students from the Trust and to support the Pathways to Law annual national conference in the summer.
