Boult Wade Tennant is delighted to announce the opening of the Berlin office.

The new office location will further strengthen the firm presence in Europe, Madrid having opened last year.

The centrally located office is on one of the most famous avenues in Berlin and will be headed up by partner Michael C. Maier. Michael is a trade mark attorney with significant expertise in developing strategic initiatives to successfully address complex legal issues that impact a business with a focus on intellectual property (trade mark law, design law, copyright, unfair competition etc.)

Michael has a broad expertise in trade mark litigation, managing worldwide trade mark portfolios and handling prosecution, opposition and cancellation matters, including appeal procedures before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office. He regularly represents German and international clients in legal disputes before German courts as well as the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Managing Partner John Wallace said ‘We are incredibly excited to announce the opening of the Berlin office and welcoming Michael to the firm. The firm is set to welcome good times ahead as we continue to grow and expand into the European market.’
